Recruiting the talent your business needs is as essential as any other aspect of your business. Determining the job role and description of the staff you hire is a prerequisite to the actual vacancy advert placement.
You need to determine what the role would be in order to create a clear description for the position.
Next put out an advert placement that entails the kind of employee you are looking for, the job description, the required qualifications and skill set. At this point, setting a timeline from advert placement to actual hire and sticking to it would prove to be very helpful.
Screen the CVs as they come and separate the "wheat from the chaff". Work out an interview list and send out messages inviting the candidates for the interview.
Prepare for the interview by creating the interview questions and a mode of selecting the successful interviewees. Documentation is also very important during the interview sessions.
After the interview, carefully select the candidates based on the interview and CV and then make sure that their references check out by calling them.
Lastly, select the best candidate or candidates for your business and send them the job offer. Hopefully your dream employee will accept the offer and you would have gained talent for your business. Good luck!
