Bed
• Moses basket, crib (these two will make the baby feel more secure), although you can also use a cot right from the start
• 3.4 fitted cot sheets
• Mattress- the mattress should be firm and fit properly in the crib
• Sleeping bag/swaddling blanket or normal blankets
• Night light
• Waterproof mattress cover/protector
• Room & body thermometer
Nappy Changing
• Baby wipes/cotton wool
• Nappy bags/sacks
• Changing mat/station
Baby Clothes
• Sleeping suits
• Scratch mits
• Snowsuit/jackets
• Hat- for when the baby is outside. Don’t put the hat on when the baby is indoors
• Socks
Breastfeeding
• Nursing bras
• Breast pads- disposable or washable

• Steriliser – this can be steam, microwave or cold water

• Muslin squares/burp clothes

• Bath thermometer/ go old school by checking the water temperature using your elbow
• Soap & baby shampoo

• Toys – pram toys/cot toys/musical toys/car seat toys

• Pram/pushchair
• Pram blanket
