As I promised here is a few mixtures of oils that you can use for cleansing your face. You can use two or three oils preferably organic oils. Castor oil is known for purging and cleansing pores. The main oil should have moisturising properties Oily acne prone skin – 30% castor oil and 70% sunflower oil/extra virgin olive oil Balance skin – 20% castor oil and 80% sunflower oil/extra virgin olive oil Dry skin – 10% castor oil to 90% sunflower oil/ extra virgin olive oil However you can pick the best ratio/oil type for your skin depending on your skin type. The mixture that I use and I feel it works for me is 25% Grapeseed oil (has moisturising properties) 50% castor oil, 25% hazelnut oil (tighten and tone your skin and has mild astringent properties)and a few drops of jojoba oil and neem oil Most of these oils can be found in the cooking isle of most grocery stores or supermarkets. Store your oils in a clean container at all times to avoid bacteria growth. How to do the OCM Gently massage the oil into your face. Once you have massaged your entire face, soak your clean towel under a stream of warm water and hold it over your face, to steam it. Let it stay on your skin until it cools, and gently wipe all traces if the oil away. For the first few days you may see small “whiteheads†that erupt as your skin purges the impurities don’t be scared this is just a way of your skin find a balance. Do this morning and before bedtime. Enjoy smooth & toned skin naturally{jcomments on} |
