OMG Whitney Houston has passed away, her publicist Kristen Foster, said Saturday that the singer had died, but the cause and the location of her death were unknown. I am really shocked, I just can’t believe it cause a few days ago I saw photos of her on a night out with friends, my heart goes out to her family. She reigned as a pop music queen, she will be truly missed. Updates: It is thought she was found by her bodyguard drowned  in a bathtub and could not be resuscitated. According to a source prescription pill bottles were found in the room. Lieutenant Rosen told reporters, “She has been positively identified by friends and family that were with her at the hotel, and next of kin have already been notified,”. The death is not being treated as suspicious but the cause is being investigated. Houston died hours before she was expected to perform at her longtime mentor, record producer Clive Davis’s annual pre-Grammy party, which is held at the Beverly Hilton. I am still gobsmacked. Drugs are dangerous, stay away from them people.
Meanwhile the man (Bobby Brown) who introduced Whitney to drugs is said to be ‘shattered and beyond devastated’. He was performing with his band, New Edition just hours after the singer died he carried on performing but unable to sing a number of songs as he sobbed into the microphone. He was unable to finish the song Tenderoni he walked off stage before the song had ended with the show finishing shortly afterwards. |
