Yet another Tesco blunder as the supermarket giant have decided to throw in, some dead or alive creatures into their fresh bags of salad. You would have thought they do care about the quality of their products especially when it comes to food but that isn’t the case as a couple have demanded compensation from Tesco after finding a fully-intact but gaunt carcass of a bird in a bag of ‘fresh’ salad. Julia who is a vegetarian found the bird after serving a portion of the salad onto her plate.

Tesco pledged yesterday to fully investigate these but the family have now demanded compensation from the supermarket considering her three children had eaten some of the salad.  Julia’s partner Paul said, ‘I took the bird to the Tesco store – where I have shopped for 11 years – but they just mentioned club card points. ‘They wanted me to hand them over the bird but I refused and took it back home. ‘People have asked me what kind of bird it was, but I really do not know. All I know is that it was truly disgusting.’
