Below is a video of step by step guide on how to sew an ankara print/kitenge/African print dress
For this project you’ll need: Fabric/sewing material, a pair of scissors, chalk/pencil, a dress or blouse to use to cut out the pattern, sewing machine or thread and needle.
Fold the material in half and place it on a flat surface.
Use your old dress/blouse and place it on top of the folded material and draw the pattern using chalk or pencil and cut it out using a pair of scissors.
Once you’ve cut out the pattern begin to sew it and your dress is ready.
