Cute smile… but not sure about how he handles the economy
Finally after 5 days of counting the votes, Tanzanians have re-elected the current president Jakaya Kikwete 60, to be their president, who will serve a second and final term. Mr Kikwete won just over 61% of the votes, beating candidates from opposition parties. The main opposition leader, Willibrod Slaa, had called for a vote recount, but the commission said there were not enough irregularities to change the final result. Why did they have to take so long to count the votes? Did he win legally or illegally?
