All the 33 miners trapped 2050 feet (625metres) underground for 69 days in Northern Chile have been rescued. They were winched up a 624m shaft in a custom built capsule, wearing oxygen mask, belt and sunglasses to protect their eyes from the sun which they have not seen for 69 days. It took 21 hours and 44minutes to rescue them all. Finally the rescue workers left a flag saying Mission accomplished. The Chile president has invited them to the presidential house on 25th of October and they are planning to have a football match….how sweet. It was a tough going for them being stranded not knowing if anyone will ever find them and rescue them. I guess we can all learn from this miners never to give up when the going gets tough. This could only be God who did it… God is Able
