Hello Divas, this review is going to be on the Black-up cream to powder foundation and the two way cake powder. Since I am not that good in makeup, I got one of my friends who is really good and she is into make up to help me with the review. I personally recommend Black Up to anyone considering I am not a makeup person but I am very happy with Black Up.

This foundation is very buildable and gives you a perfect even complexion. I have very oily skin, but with this foundation my skins does not get as oily as it normally does. Its fragrance free and non-comedogenic It’s got a light creamy and silky feel to it, so your skin is very breathable when you have it on, it’s also got moisturizing agents to keep your skin moisturized but this shouldn’t be a substitute for you moisturizer. Looking at the packaging it’s got a sponge, but I will recommend you use your fingers (clean off course) because this warms the foundation better into the skin.
I am an FC06 in the cream to powder foundation and an TW12 in the two way cake powder, if this helps anyone that has the same complexion that I do. I will suggest you try it on before you buy it. They have a counter in Debenhams oxford street in London, the makeup artists are very helpful and friendly, you can go in the morning try it on and go do your shopping and see how it sits with your skin and then you can make your decision. The two way cake is also fragrance free and contains vitamin A&E which are very good for your skin. It can be worn as a foundation on its own or as a finishing powder over your foundation I must warn, it might be pricey but it’s worth every penny & I promise you won’t be disappointed. One of the problems I have had in the past with foundations is that they made me look very chalky but this foundation doesn’t it just looks like my second skin. Here are before and after pictures
 Face
First I moisturized my skin using the seaweed mattifying moisture lotion with SPF15 from the body shop and applied my LOREAL studio secrets resurfacing face primer. This acts as a second skin for your foundation to go on, a mattifier and helps to prevent your pores from clogging.
I used my fingers to apply the foundation all over my face, and then I used a foundation brush to apply the two way cake powder all over my face.

MAC cosmetics are known for the quality of their products, but on the other hand they can be very pricey also. I believe that you don’t have to break the bank to look good; there are so many drug store brands out there that work just as good as the MAC products. The secret to a good make up is having the right tools and knowing how to use those tools. Make up is not as complicated as it looks. So ladies you can look as fabulous and flawless as you want, you just have to practice. Practice they say makes perfect, there was a time I did not even know how to apply an eye pencil and I got there in the end. I really hope this has helped someone, if you have any question please contact us @ info@alwand.co.uk and we will be happy to help with any off you make up questions. Thanks for your time. Before
After
I normally don’t like looking like I have masked myself when I apply makeup, so I apply as little foundation and powder as I can.  I use Fond de Teint Créme Poudré FC11 180 (Foundation) and Two way cake B223 (powder) which suits my skin type and it gives me the coverage that I need without looking like I have been attacked by crayola. By the way this was the first time I tried smokey eye, what do you guys think? |
